Relax and Enjoy Nature
Ranquilco is an abundantly special place where pure Nature reigns with as little human intervention as possible. One crosses deserts, then the high steppes of the Andean foothills to the elevated summer meadows, thousands of acres of sunshone grasses, and the trailhead towards a valley of rivers and dreams, three hours away. The western boundary is the border with Chile – the High Andes – graced by lakes, waterfalls, condors, hot springs and weeks of wandering.

There are no phones, no televisions, and even the electricity which is generated by falling water sometimes releases the participants to the gentler, kinder glow of candle and fire light. Along with the miles of private water, and the leagues of unfenced and wild riding, Ranquilco has a swimming pool, volleyball court, mini gym, running track, polo field and a river side log sauna.

Come when you want
From October-May (springtime through the autumn), we welcome guests who want to experience Ranquilco for one week or one season. Read, write, paint, explore, ride, fish, relax or discover whatever it is that simply needs a place like Ranquilco to manifest itself.
