Estancia Ranquilco operates as a working ranch with one thousand head of cattle, forty horses, and a small herd of merino/ corriedale sheep and goats.
Hailing from Colorado and California, Ashley and his daughter Sky Carrithers now live in Argentina, splitting their time between Ranquilco and the winter grazing grounds, Estancia Colipilli. In addition to learning the cattle business from the ground up, Sky cares for our herd of beautiful criollo horses.
Ashley’s son T.A., his wife Laura, and their son Kincaid, share their time between Ranquilco and their ranch in California. T.A. leads horse riding groups into the Andes. His high mountain pack trips are high adventure – ride through pristine mountains and valleys up into our summer grazing lands near the border with Chile. While at Ranquilco, Laura offers holistic wellness consultations.
